SPAR Gran Canaria will once again participate in the Gran Canaria Me Gusta Fair, held from May 8 to 10 at the Agüimes Exhibition Center, reaffirming its support for the primary sector and island gastronomy with various activities and the sale of zero-kilometer products.

The supermarket chain will be one of the main sponsors of this key event for the primary sector and local agri-food industry. Its presence underscores its commitment to zero-kilometer products and the island's economy, a relationship that has been consolidated over sixteen years through agreements with numerous producers and farmers.
At its stand, SPAR Gran Canaria will pay tribute to the island's primary sector, offering high-quality products at special prices. The company expects to exceed 8,500 kilograms of local products sold at this edition, thereby promoting the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables among the population.
The fresh produce selection will include tomatoes from La Aldea, strawberries from Valsequillo, carrots from Fontanales, zucchini from Telde, cucumbers from Santa Lucía de Tirajana, red peppers from Gran Canaria, and avocados from Mogán.
In addition to product sales, the stand will feature two roulette wheels where visitors making a minimum purchase can win prizes. The activity program also includes a gastronomic exhibition by a renowned chef on Saturday, May 9, at 12:30 PM.
For children, fruit art workshops will be held on May 8, in two sessions (10:30 AM and 12:30 PM), aiming to promote healthy eating habits. Furthermore, the 'La SPARETA' food truck will offer a diverse menu throughout the three days of the fair, featuring local ingredients such as tomatoes from La Aldea, lettuce from Guía, onions from Gáldar, and arugula from Telde.
