The second edition of Gran Canaria Experience (GCX) will feature a dedicated sports zone, organized by the Canary Islands Government's Department of Education, from September 2nd to 6th at Alisios Shopping Center.

Attendees at Gran Canaria Experience can explore and practice various sports disciplines, including fencing, Canarian wrestling, chess, taichi, and taekwondo. Additionally, a simracing area will be available for experiencing motorsport competition.
The event, taking place from September 2nd to 6th at the Alisios Shopping Center in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, aims to promote physical activity among diverse audiences by blending traditional sports with technological and digital culture approaches.
The Department's participation will also serve as a showcase for ExpoDeca 2026, scheduled from November 12th to 15th at the Plaza de la Música in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. ExpoDeca is a key meeting point for the sports sector in the islands, promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands and organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through Infecar.
The organization of Gran Canaria Experience anticipates exceeding 175,000 attendees for this edition, following the 87,000 recorded at its debut. The festival integrates video games, esports, board games, innovation, and digital culture, now adding a significant sports offering.
