The primary impact will be the closure of the GC-500 road, specifically between the small square of La Verga ravine in Anfi del Mar and the Taurito ravine. This closure will be in effect from 06:00 to 14:00. Furthermore, access to Anfi del Mar and Los Caideros will be restricted as these areas will serve as the transition zone for the event, with controlled passage permitted only by traffic officers.
Other locations such as Balito, Puerto Rico, Amadores, Tauro, Taurito, and Playa del Cura will also experience access limitations, allowed only for justified or urgent needs. In Puerto Rico, both the lower area and accesses like Agua La Perra will have restrictions, advising residents to park in the upper part and use designated pedestrian crossings.
For Amadores, access must be via alternative routes from the GC-1. Residents of Tauro, El Platero, and Playa del Cura are advised to plan their journeys in advance. Access to Taurito via the GC-500 will remain closed, with the GC-1 serving as the alternative route. The beaches of Los Frailes, Medio Almud, and Tiritaña will also be closed to traffic during the event hours.
“"We ask residents to plan their journeys in advance and encourage the public to enjoy the event, which will bring together prominent triathletes in the Anfi del Mar area."
The Mogán Town Council has arranged provisional public transport stops and controlled access for workers and airport transfers during limited time slots, always under the supervision of the Local Police. The Council requests understanding for any inconvenience, emphasizing that these measures are essential for the safety and proper execution of the sports event.
