The fair will feature companies involved in event organization, sports equipment, health, training, consultancies, professional associations, NGOs, and public administrations. ExpoDeca 2026 will offer an extensive sports program with fifty disciplines and 400 activities, alongside exhibitions and competitions. A national-level agenda of talks will also be held to discuss the current state of the sports industry.
To date, 149 entities have confirmed their attendance at the Plaza de la Música. Attendees, with free entry, can discover brands, products, and services offered in this sector across the Canary Islands. The event aims to connect companies with the public sector to foster synergies in an industry that represents four percent of the autonomous community's GDP and generates over 66,000 jobs.
ExpoDeca, which began in 2024 at Infecar and was held in 2025 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, seeks to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Event organization will be a prominently represented segment, with about twenty specialized agencies, reflecting its national growth.
Other key areas will include training, consulting, health and quality of life, as well as sports apparel and equipment, with nearly thirty brands. Companies focused on sports facility equipment will also be present.
The public sector will have a significant presence, with participation from various island councils and city councils, joining the efforts of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The Spanish Paralympic Committee will also attend to promote inclusive sports.
Professional associations, sports federations, NGOs, and other related companies complete the list of participants. An updated list of exhibitors is available on the official ExpoDeca 2026 website. The event is promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands and organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through Infecar.
