The event, part of the La Guancha 2026 Patron Saint Festivities program, returns after a successful first edition last year. According to official information from the City Council, the fair will feature five wineries: Atrevino, Canales del Palmar, Linaje del Pago, El Sitio, and Salomé.
The gastronomic offerings will be provided by establishments and collectives such as Ibericod; Restaurante Casa Mi Madre alongside Pastelería El Artesano; La Manobuena Pastelería y Catering; Carbrusa; and the Fiesta Commission of Santo Domingo.
Live music will liven up the night with performances by La Chalana, Ni 1 Pelo de Tonto, and DJ Cris Hdez, as detailed in the official festival program.
Alejandro Hernández, Councilor for Festivities, highlighted the Vinofest's intention for continuity, created to become a staple in the municipal program after its successful debut. The goal is to maintain the atmosphere and solidify the fair.
The first edition, held in August 2025, also took place in the Plaza de la Iglesia, combining local products, dining, and entertainment. This second edition maintains the location but expands and modifies the offerings.
The initiative is supported by funding from the Dinamiza Rural program of the Government of the Canary Islands, aimed at boosting economic and revitalization activities in rural municipalities and areas.
The Vinofest will kick off at 8:30 PM. The festive program will continue on Saturday with the Day of Traditions in the Barranco de La Asomada.
