The Town Hall of San Juan de la Rambla has a new municipal government configuration after the successful no-confidence motion that returns Jesús Ezequiel Domínguez González, from the PSOE, to the mayoralty of the municipality.
The new governing group will be formed by socialist councilors Jesús Ezequiel Domínguez González, Priscila Díaz Bethencourt, Gloria María Méndez Quintero, and Daniel Rodríguez Mesa. They are joined by Juan Agustín Siverio González from AUP–Sí Se Puede, and Juan Alberto Pérez González from Nueva Canarias.
For their part, the opposition will be composed of councilors from Coalición Canaria, Juan Ramos Reyes, Jonay Méndez Vargas, and María García Díaz; the councilor from AUP–Sí Se Puede, Yanira Mesa González; and the councilor from the Partido Popular, Dolores María Rodríguez García.
With this new distribution, the municipal corporation is configured with a governing group of six councilors and an opposition formed by five councilors, who will carry out their respective functions of representation and control within the municipal institution.
