The event, scheduled for 7:00 PM in the Institution's Assembly Hall, will feature the author, journalist Marta Saavedra, who will share with the public the process of creating this work. The book is built upon conversations and testimonies from prominent political and cultural figures.

Joining the author will be the president of the Cabildo de La Gomera, Casimiro Curbelo, whose voice is among the testimonies included in the volume. Published by La Catarata, the book features a prologue by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and illustrations by María Luisa Hodgson.

Its pages contain reflections and memories from figures such as Felipe González, Alfonso Guerra, Javier Solana, and Carolina Darias, among other key players in recent Spanish and Canarian political history. The work offers a collective portrait of Jerónimo Saavedra, reviewing his political career and his fundamental role in the development of Canarian self-government, as well as his commitment to public life and the progress of the archipelago.
