The logistics company Correos has extended its Correos Cash service in La Gomera, facilitating basic financial operations such as cash deposits and withdrawals for clients of various banking entities.

Through Correos Cash, residents of La Gomera, including 3 offices and 12 rural services, can perform cash transactions. This service is particularly valuable for people in rural areas with limited access to bank branches or who are less familiar with digital banking.
Currently, Correos collaborates with about ten banking entities, including Banco Santander, BBVA, and CaixaBank, to offer these essential financial services. The company's network of rural and urban mail carriers facilitates home cash delivery nationwide, even in the most isolated populations.
The service is offered in two modalities: a digital one, through the banking entity's application, and a face-to-face one, where clients only need to present their identity document and provide their card details or IBAN. Correos has also signed agreements with banking associations such as the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) to extend this coverage, especially in rural areas.
The collaboration between Correos and entities like Banco Santander allows for requesting home cash delivery through rural and urban mail carriers across Spain. Furthermore, many Correos offices offer extended hours, complementing bank branch services and promoting financial inclusion.
