The island of La Gomera is preparing to host the second edition of the ‘La Gomera, Moda y Magia’ program on July 25th in Puerto de Vueltas, Valle Gran Rey, featuring a runway with over fifteen designers.

The initiative, promoted by the Cabildo de La Gomera, aims to showcase the island's textile and creative talent, strengthening its business and productive fabric. The first edition already served to introduce the brand ‘La Gomera, Moda y Magia’ nationally and internationally, creating a meeting point for professionals and entrepreneurs in the sector.
The insular Minister of Tourism, Commerce, and Consumption, María Isabel Méndez, highlighted the project's importance in promoting product commercialization and the projection of Gomera firms. The goal is to connect businesses with the general public and open new sales points, enhancing the destination's image.
As a novelty, the initiative ‘La Gomera, Moda y Comercio’ is being launched with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Through a sponsorship system, local designers and businesses are joining forces to distribute and market creations under the brand, following the ‘See now, buy now’ concept.
The event, scheduled for 8:00 PM, will feature a 30-meter runway at the Vueltas pier. Sustainability is a central theme, promoting responsible design and timeless garments made through environmentally friendly processes.
This year's edition will feature Tenerife Moda as the guest island, with the participation of the firm Arena Negra Swimwear and Yusef Perdomo. Established firms such as Ananas Wear by Javier Aguilar will present their new collection alongside creatives like Diego Barroso (FILST), Puro Pellejo, Zapatita, Sonia Medina Upcycling, My Celium, Alma Libre, Alhaja Art Couture, Matices by Deniz Passoti, Elena Mesa, Cas Cas, Amalgama Viva, Savitri, Aracne, Haridian Padilla, and Sofía Figueredo.
The project, promoted by the Cabildo de La Gomera and the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is supported by PROEXCA of the Government of the Canary Islands and collaborates with the Ayuntamiento de Valle Gran Rey, Puertos Canarios, and Fred. Olsen Express.
