The XXII Hermigua – La Carbonera Hill Climb opens registrations and consolidates in the Spanish Cup

The Gomera event, scheduled for May 15 and 16, will be the first of the regional and provincial mountain calendar.

The Escudería Gomera Racing has opened the registration period for the XXII Hermigua – La Carbonera Hill Climb, which will take place on May 15 and 16 and, for the second consecutive year, is part of the Spanish Mountain Cup.

This competition, organized by Escudería Gomera Racing, not only integrates into the national circuit but will also kick off the regional and provincial calendar for the specialty. This dual relevance anticipates a significant turnout of participants, both in quantity and quality, promising a high-level automotive spectacle on the island of La Gomera.
The period to formalize registrations began on Monday, April 6, at 9:00 a.m. Those interested in the sport regularity modality have until Wednesday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m. to register, while other competitors can do so until Wednesday, May 6, at 2:00 p.m. The organization reminds that the process must be carried out through the official platform of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation (RFEDA).
The day of Friday, May 15, will be dedicated to technical and administrative verifications, which will start from 3:00 p.m. For Saturday, May 16, the program includes two official practice runs and three race runs, totaling five ascents to the track. The trophy ceremony for this edition will be held in the Plaza de la Encarnación, in Hermigua.
Previously, on Wednesday, April 8, at 12:00 p.m., the Centro Socio – Cultural Antiguo Casino de Hermigua will host the official presentation of the event, where all the details of this anticipated edition will be announced. The XXII Hermigua – La Carbonera Hill Climb has the support of various entities, including the Cabildo de La Gomera, the Ayuntamiento de Hermigua, San Sebastián and Alajeró, and the Government of the Canary Islands, among other sponsors.
