The Bus Station in Valle Gran Rey hosted the presentation of the "La Gomera para todes" and "GomerArcoíris" campaigns, integrating LGBTIQ+ messages of respect and equality into the municipality's public transport and taxi services.

The initiative, part of the La Gomera LGBTIQ+ Pride 2026 program, aims to transform buses and taxis in Valle Gran Rey into "loudspeakers" for messages of respect and defense of the collective's rights. The goal is to bring this campaign closer to residents and visitors, enhancing visibility and awareness in public spaces.
This action is included in the activities scheduled across La Gomera until July 22nd, featuring awareness-raising, community, and advocacy proposals in various municipalities. The campaign specifically focuses on extending the visibility of the LGBTIQ+ community into everyday settings to foster safer and more inclusive environments.
The presence of the "La Gomera para todes" and "GomerArcoíris" campaign imagery on buses and taxis seeks to broaden the reach of Pride beyond specific events, integrating it into the island's daily life.

The initiative is funded by the General Directorate of Diversity of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of La Gomera. It also receives support from the Equality Department of the Valle Gran Rey City Council, Guaguas Gomera, and the Valle Gran Rey Taxi Association, whose collaboration has been crucial for the project's development in the municipality.
Through this addition, "GomerArcoíris" and "La Gomera para todes" strengthen the island-wide program for La Gomera LGBTIQ+ Pride 2026, which champions visibility, memory, citizen participation, and the fight against hate, discrimination, and violence.
