The Exposaldo Insular Fair of La Gomera 2026 opens its doors this Friday at the Plaza de las Américas, in San Sebastián de La Gomera. The event will take place on October 9, 10, and 11 with a diverse program for all audiences.
The event will bring together the island's commercial sector, serving as a showcase for economic revitalization and the promotion of local trade. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy a large commercial area with bargain-priced products, as well as leisure activities, workshops, a fashion show, and musical performances.
The official opening will be this Friday, October 9, at 5:00 PM. From then on, the public can explore the commercial zone. The first day will feature a musical performance by Grupo Los Satélites starting at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday the 10th, the fair opens at 10:00 AM. The morning will include children's craft and face-painting workshops (from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM), and inflatable obstacle courses for the little ones. At 11:00 AM, programming from Radio Rumberos FM will be broadcast live, along with a family show featuring Güicho Estévez. The group Hijos del Silbo will perform at 1:00 PM and have a second set at 7:15 PM.
In the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, sustainable workshops on clothing reuse will be held. As one of the main attractions at 8:30 PM, there will be a fashion show featuring island businesses and designers associated with the 'La Gomera, Moda y Magia' project.
On Sunday, Exposaldo will reopen at 10:00 AM, offering inflatable castles and sustainable clothing reuse workshops. The Grupo Los Satélites will perform at 1:00 PM, before the diploma ceremony and the official closing of the fair at 2:00 PM.
