The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal and its brand Saborea La Palma, is joining the thirty-ninth edition of Salón Gourmet 2026. This prestigious event, considered Europe's leading high-end cuisine fair, will take place at the Ifema venue in Madrid, from April 13 to 16.
“"La Palma's presence at Salón Gourmet is a strategic action for the internationalization of local businesses, allowing the excellence of La Palma's flavors to compete in the most demanding professional forums."
This participation underscores Saborea La Palma's commitment to the agri-food sector, seeking to enhance the visibility of producers who transform the territory into a valuable gastronomic product. The Palman delegation will be located in the institutional area of the Canary Islands, collaborating with the rest of the archipelago to highlight the unique identity and premium quality of the Isla Bonita's pantry.
In this edition, La Palma emphasizes the balance between tradition and modernity, represented by three prominent companies: Bruco, known for its artisanal jams, traditional pastries, and mojos; Destilerías Aldea, famous for its agricultural rum; and Veganorte, which will present its volcanic wines from the northwest region. This initiative aims to strengthen the position of Palman products in national and international markets, facilitating contact with distributors, gastronomic critics, and HORECA channel professionals.
Additionally, Saborea La Palma has scheduled a series of presentations and guided tastings, designed to offer attendees a complete sensory experience.
