A man was rescued with signs of moderate drowning at Puerto Naos beach, in Los Llanos de Aridane, and transferred to the General Hospital of La Palma.

On July 13, 2026, at 3:22 PM, emergency services of the Government of the Canary Islands intervened at Puerto Naos beach, in the municipality of Los Llanos de Aridane, to assist a man showing signs of moderate drowning.
The alert was received by the Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2, which reported that beach lifeguards had rescued the man from the water. Following the call, the necessary resources were immediately activated.
An advanced life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, medical personnel assessed the affected person and, after providing assistance, transferred him to the General Hospital of La Palma.
Members of the Guardia Civil and the Local Police also collaborated in the operation, taking charge of preparing the corresponding reports.
