The Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert on September 5, 2026, at 11:07 PM, reporting a woman falling in a coastal zone. After classifying the call, the information was transferred to the relevant sectors.
Personnel from the Firefighters of La Palma reached the affected woman and proceeded with her rescue. Concurrently, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) dispatched a medicalized ambulance. Healthcare professionals assessed and attended to the woman, who presented with multiple serious traumas.
Once stabilized, the woman was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of La Palma. The Guardia Civil also collaborated at the scene and prepared the necessary reports.
