Friday, October 9th, kicks off at 18:00 at La Plazuela with the Canary hard rock band Gunpowder, selected through the Cajasiete call. Following them at 19:30 in the Charco de San Ginés is Vera Fauna, a notable indie proposal from Andalusia. The explosive funk-rock of O’Funk’Illo will play at 21:00 in Marina Lanzarote.
The day's closing act will be M-Clan, one of the essential bands of Spanish rock, fronted by Carlos Tarque. Adora's performance will serve as the final flourish to a day that will traverse various venues in the center of Arrecife, with Rockalean guiding the audience.
The morning of Saturday, October 10th, is dedicated to the island's emerging musical talent. At 11:00, at La Plazuela, Cantera Rock will perform, a band formed by students from the Toñín Corujo Music School. Later, at 12:00, also at La Plazuela, it will be the turn of the young Lanzarote power trio Knight Lizards. Both groups will have the opportunity to gain experience on a professional stage.
The Modern Music Classroom of the CIEM will not participate in the 'We Support Young Talent' day. They explained that the withdrawal is due to the unavailability of one of their professors and the adaptation process resulting from the center's natural student renewal. The center regretted the decision, stating they were "very eager to play our music at this very special event."
