Several players from the men's first team visited the protectorate's facilities to learn firsthand about their work in sheltering and caring for abandoned animals. During the visit, the athletes participated in dog walking, a key activity for the animals' well-being.
The supply collection campaign will take place at the entrance of the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion. Essential items such as cat litter, blankets, towels, and cleaning and hygiene products for the daily maintenance of the facilities will be requested.
The club will also display information on responsible adoption to raise awareness among attendees, aiming for the sports matches to serve as a space for solidarity and citizen collaboration.
This initiative is part of the social project driven by Club Balonmano San José Obrero, which promotes values such as solidarity, respect, and social responsibility through sports, and aims for its athletes to be role models both on and off the court.
The sports entity acknowledges the important work carried out by the SARA Animal Protectorate and the efforts of its staff and volunteers in caring for and finding new opportunities for abandoned animals.
