Martinón, Timanfaya, and El Grifo wineries were the stars of this success, earning significant recognition at the event held in the Aosta Valley, Italy. This competition is the only one exclusively dedicated to wines produced under extreme cultivation conditions, such as those characteristic of Lanzarote's vineyards.
Bodegas Martinón received the Grand Gold Medal for its Martinón Blanco Seco 2025 and the Gold Medal for its Martinón Blanco Afrutado 2025. Meanwhile, Bodegas Timanfaya secured two Grand Gold Medals for their wines Timanfaya Moscatel Dulce Selección 1999 and Timanfaya Malvasía Dulce Natural 2018, along with a Gold Medal for their Timanfaya Tinto 2023. Their Moscatel Dulce Selección 1999 also won the Special Prize for Best "Pie Franco" Wine, achieving the highest score in its category.
Bodegas El Grifo completed the list of awardees with two Gold Medals for its Experiencia de Vendimia Listán Blanco, Crianza en Fudre 2024 and its Seco Colección 2025.
The Mondial des Vins Extrêmes, organized by CERVIM, brought together 1,175 wines from 432 wineries across 22 countries for its 34th edition. The wines were tasted on August 25th and 26th by 55 international technical tasters.

These new accolades reinforce the unique identity of the island's vineyard, cultivated on volcanic ash and protected from the wind by characteristic pits, consolidating Lanzarote's position in the international landscape of extreme condition viticulture.
