The Arona City Council, through its Autonomous Body for Sports, has allocated 1,026,000 euros to six subsidy calls to support the sports activities of clubs and educational centers in the municipality for the 2026-2027 season.

These financial aids are distributed across various lines for grassroots federated sports, representative sports, and the development of integration and community action sports programs. Five of the subsidies are exclusively for sports clubs, while one is designated for public secondary education centers.
Interested entities have a period of ten business days from their publication in the Official Gazette of the Province to submit their applications.
In the grassroots sports sector, 416,700 euros are allocated to clubs with federated multi-sport specialties, and 372,700 euros to grassroots football teams. For senior teams, 89,300 euros are designated for federated football clubs and the same amount for teams in other sports specialties. Additionally, 33,000 euros are reserved for Canarian wrestling clubs, covering both grassroots and senior categories.
A budget of 25,000 euros has been set aside for the municipality's public Secondary Education institutes to develop integration and community action programs through sports. These activities aim to promote health, social integration, and support for groups with specific needs.
Specific requirements for each subsidy line are detailed in the corresponding regulatory bases. Applications can be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Arona City Council.
