The Casa de los Arroyo, the emblematic headquarters of the Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve, has launched an open house program that will run until July 8th.

This historic site, linked to the island's environmental and cultural management, now offers the opportunity for guided tours. These routes are designed to rediscover the values that have established Lanzarote as a territory recognized by UNESCO.
Led by an educator specialized in sustainability, the tours combine the building's historical heritage with collective memory and citizen participation. They address both the elements that made the island a benchmark and current challenges, including the impact of climate change and the need for more balanced development.
Attendees can explore various areas of the Casa de los Arroyo, such as the entrance hall, the courtyard, exhibition spaces, and the historical library belonging to the Lanzarote physicist Blas Cabrera Felipe. The activity aims not only to be a cultural experience but also to foster conversation about the future of Lanzarote as a UNESCO territory.
The program will take place from Monday to Friday until July 8th, with three daily time slots at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM. Interested individuals must pre-register by calling or sending a WhatsApp message to 679 453 640. The initiative is intended for those who wish to delve deeper into the building's history, learn about the work of the Biosphere Reserve, and reflect on Lanzarote's key sustainability challenges.
