The Lanzarote Cabildo has taken a significant step in modernizing its tourism sector by awarding the digitalization of its information office network, an initiative funded by European Next Generation funds.

The Island Corporation has commissioned the company IURBAN DIGITAL TOURISM, S.L. to execute this project, valued at 359,279.25 euros. The main objective is to standardize and improve the quality of information services offered to visitors to the island.
This action, fully funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU program and framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, aims to ensure that all tourists receive updated, coherent, and technologically adapted information, regardless of the point of service.

"This award represents a significant advance in the island's roadmap towards digitalization. The incorporation of technological tools will allow for more personalized and efficient service from the moment tourists arrive."

Oswaldo Betancort · President of the Cabildo
In addition to optimizing direct service, the project also includes improvements in the collection and analysis of tourist data. The Cabildo's Planning and Project Coordination area emphasizes that this initiative will facilitate access to more precise information on tourists' interests and behaviors.
This analytical capability will enable the administration to make decisions based on real data, promoting a more sustainable, competitive, and adapted tourism model to current demands. The contract establishes an execution period of five months, during which physical infrastructure improvements will be made and advanced technological equipment will be incorporated, including systems for multichannel interaction with visitors.
