The Marlines de Lanzarote Kayaking Club faces a key objective of the season this weekend: the XIX Spanish Sea Kayak Championship in Alicante. This competition is the last of the calendar and will play a crucial role in resolving the national leagues.
The Lanzarote expedition will be its largest ever, with 88 athletes and 103 registered boats, representing 62 clubs from across Spain that will gather 702 paddlers. The club has made a considerable logistical and economic effort to transport its team and boats from the island.
The technical team and athletes will travel to Alicante this Friday, while the boats have already begun their long journey. The club emphasizes that its project remains focused on its youth academy, which forms the heart of its philosophy.

Currently, the Lanzarote team leads the XVI National Sea Kayak League, the VIII Iberdrola League, and the VI National Competition for Young Promises. The goal is to conclude the summer season successfully and compete for championships in the Absolute, Master, and Young Promises categories.
Club president José María García has praised the athletes' sacrifice during the summer and highlighted the entity's growth, which has attracted paddlers from various backgrounds.
