An emergency operation rescued 53 people traveling on a boat in waters near the island of Lanzarote during this Sunday night.

The rescue mission was coordinated by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center. After the boat was located, the occupants were transported to the Arrecife pier for assistance.
Upon arrival, a medical team consisting of personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the Red Cross assessed the health status of the individuals.
Following the medical evaluation, two men were transferred to a hospital facility to receive treatment for minor ailments.
