The III Costa Teguise Tournament – Professional Golf Championship will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Costa Teguise Golf, Lanzarote, featuring a prize fund of 12,000 euros.

The competition will be preceded, on Saturday, November 7, by the traditional Pro-Am, a day that will allow professional and amateur players to share the course on the Lanzarotean greens. This event is primarily sponsored by Teguise Turismo and the Teguise City Council, with support from the Canarian Golf Federation, PGA Canarias, Costa Teguise Golf, Logal, Holiday Golf, and Bridgestone Golf.
The prize fund has seen significant growth, doubling from 6,000 euros in its first edition to 12,000 euros for this third event. This increase highlights the commitment to continuity and enhancing the scope of a competition that merges sport, tourism, and destination promotion.
The Pro-Am, starting Saturday, November 7, at 10:00 AM with a shotgun start, will feature teams of three amateur players and one professional, competing in a scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, followed by a closing lunch at El Piconero restaurant. Amateur entries, priced at 60 euros, must be submitted before Wednesday, November 4, via info@costateguisegolf.com.
On Sunday, November 8, the Professional Championship will be played over 18 holes in Individual Scratch Stroke Play format, with an approximate prize fund of 12,000 euros. Professional entries cost 55 euros (45 euros for PGA members) and are processed through the Canarian Golf Federation website.
Among the confirmed participants are experienced players Carlos Suneson and Paco Cea, alongside the young Canarian talent José Antonio Sintes, adding significant interest to an event aiming to gain prominence in the Canarian competitive calendar.
Costa Teguise Golf, designed by John Harris, is an 18-hole, par 72 course located at the foot of an ancient volcano with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Lined with over 3,000 palm trees and native vegetation, it offers a strategic and varied layout, serving as a prime sporting and tourist attraction for the island.
