Yaiza-based driver Daniel Pérez, accompanied by co-driver Kimberley Suárez, claimed victory in the Tinajo land speed event, while Raúl Armas triumphed in the Car-Cross category.

Daniel Pérez, driving his usual Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, and his co-driver Kimberley Suárez, achieved their second consecutive win at the regional land speed event in Tinajo. This victory further solidifies their lead on dirt surfaces, following their success in winning all four timed stages of the La Santa-Tinajo section and establishing a lead of over a minute on the second-placed competitor.
The second position on the podium was secured by Tenerife natives Iván and Carla García in their BMW Compact Proto, who experienced a calm race without pressure from the following competitors. This second-place finish aligns with their objective of securing another regional title.
A surprise on the podium came from the team of Cristian Santana-Diego Cabrera in a Golf GTI, who clinched the third spot. Several other drivers vied for this position, improving their times throughout the stages, but this revelation team proved most effective amidst the fluctuating results.
Fourth place went to the Ford Fiesta ST driven by Adrián Velázquez-Andrea Hernández, just six seconds shy of the podium, and ten seconds ahead of the Golf GTI of Amai Perdomo-Tania Brito, who finished fifth overall. Juan Daniel de la Cruz-Alain González in an Ibiza 1.8 Turbo finished sixth, having lost valuable seconds on the final stage.
In the class categories, the trophy for class 7 was awarded to Juan José de la Cruz-Miguel Sosa. Class 4 was won by Adián Pérez-María Corujo, and class 5 was claimed by the occupants of the Ford Fiesta ST, who demonstrated strong pace throughout the event. The Dacia Sandero of Abián Domínguez and Aitor Elvira took the win in class 3.
In the Car-Cross category, Daniel Pérez Alonso in his La Base SX01 emerged victorious after a close contest with Raúl Armas and his Speedcar Extrem. Armas managed to win one heat, but Pérez secured three scratch times. Ultimately, 6.2 seconds separated them after an exciting duel. Yeray González secured third place with his La Base SX01.
Within the Car-Cross classes, Yeray Pérez won class 11 and finished fourth overall, while Jonay González took the trophy for class 10.
The land speed event in Lanzarote unfolded dynamically and without significant incidents, despite a reduced number of entries. The event, organized by CD. Evesport in collaboration with clubs Motisleño and Manguia Motor Sport, concluded punctually with a trophy ceremony and awards from the Government of the Canary Islands. The ceremony was attended by councilwoman Macarena Olivero, representing the Tinajo City Council, the main promoter of the event held in memory of pilot Jefry Hernández.
