The Barlovento City Council has awarded the roofing project for the CEO Barlovento sports court to the construction company INVERUR 2001 S.L. for a budget of €486,158.58.

The contract includes an execution period of four months and two weeks. The project will be financed by a grant from the Canary Islands Government's Department of Education, with the City Council covering the cost of construction management.
The work involves covering the sports court with a lightweight metal structure and a flat metal sheet roof with insulation and waterproofing. Partial side enclosures will also be built, and the perimeter walls and existing sports flooring will be conditioned and repaired.
Furthermore, the City Council and the school's management have agreed on maintenance and cleaning works, including garden clearing, painting, and repairs to windows, bathrooms, and ceilings.
The new roofing will enable the development of school, sports, and cultural activities year-round, regardless of weather conditions, and will increase the versatility of the space for the school community.
