For this Wednesday, weak or locally moderate rains are expected, with a higher probability in inland areas during the central hours of the day. This change is accompanied by a slight temperature decrease, continuing the trend of previous days. The wind will be light from the north, shifting to southwest in mid-altitudes and high areas of the archipelago.
AEMET has also warned about the upcoming arrival of a subtropical air mass to the peninsula, which will bring suspended dust, unusually high temperatures, and increased instability, with possible strong storms and hail.
Regarding the forecast for the coming days in the islands, Thursday is expected to be stable in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, with mostly clear skies. In the rest of the archipelago, cloudy skies will prevail with weak to moderate rains, especially in the north and east of the higher relief islands. Temperatures will remain stable or with a slight decrease in maximums, and the wind will be light to moderate from the north.
On Friday, cloudiness will continue in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and the north of the mountainous islands, where weak rainfall is not ruled out. In other areas, mostly clear skies will prevail. Maximum temperatures will rise slightly in the higher relief islands, while minimums will barely change or drop slightly. The wind will be moderate from the northeast, with strong gusts in the summits at the end of the day.
“"In the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, temperatures will be more typical of June. In the Canary Islands, they will drop tomorrow and normalize."
