The Club de Mayores Estrella del Norte in Sardina held a recognition event for individuals who have served as president of the entity since its foundation, highlighting their contribution to the collective's journey.

Last Wednesday, September 16, an emotional event took place at the collective's headquarters, located on Calle Severo Ochoa. The day was attended by local authorities such as Teodoro Sosa, mayor of Gáldar; Antonio María Benítez Melián, councilor for Senior Clubs; and council members Antonia Moreno and Cristian Perdomo.
During the ceremony, tribute was paid to Santiago Suárez, Ernesto Molina, Josefa Moreno, Carmela Benítez, Andrés Díaz, and Manuel del Pino Pérez, in gratitude for their work and dedication as presidents of the entity. The event featured a musical performance by Isabel Díaz Cruz.
This initiative, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Senior Clubs of the Gáldar City Council, highlights the trajectory of an association that represents an important space for meeting, coexistence, and participation for the elderly residents of the Sardina neighborhood.
