The Department of Physical Activity, Sports, and Health is promoting this intervention aimed at offering users optimal conditions. The mayor of the city, Teodoro Sosa, and the Councilor for Sports, Ancor Bolaños, visited the facility to oversee the progress of the work.
The main action involves the complete renovation of the pool basin's interior lining with a new liner, replacing the old one due to wear and tear. Taking advantage of the pool being emptied, maintenance tasks have been carried out, including cleaning filters and circulation pumps, painting elements, and cleaning gutters to ensure the overall proper functioning of the facility.
Teodoro Sosa highlighted the continuous investment in sports infrastructure to provide modern and safe spaces. Meanwhile, Ancor Bolaños recalled that this improvement is in addition to other recent upgrades at the municipal pool, such as the installation of a new heat pump and double glazing.
