Gáldar City Council has formalized the incorporation of two interim civil servants and a local police officer, aiming to strengthen its municipal structure and ensure the efficiency of public services for citizens.

This Tuesday, April 14, the Gáldar Town Hall hosted an institutional event for the swearing-in of new staff members. The ceremony was presided over by the mayor, accompanied by the first deputy mayor, the City Council secretary, and various members of the Municipal Corporation.
Within the framework of the Public Employment Offer (OPE) 2026, two professionals joined as interim civil servants, filling essential vacant positions for the development of municipal competencies. Their selection was carried out through a rigorous process that prioritizes technical capability.
Additionally, the first service commission of 2026 for a Local Police agent was formalized. This legal mechanism allows for the optimization of municipal human resources, facilitating functional mobility and reinforcing strategic areas of local administration with experienced professionals.

"We are in a process where we are managing to build a significant administrative structure."
