The Gáldar City Council, through its Department of Physical Activity, Sport, and Health, has enhanced municipal sports infrastructure by installing a new video scoreboard at the Juan Vega Mateos Sports Center. This upgrade modernizes the facility with cutting-edge technological equipment, aiming to provide improved services to both athletes and spectators attending the various competitions and events held throughout the year.
The new scoreboard features a 7.37 square meter video screen composed of 144 LED modules. It meets the specific requirements of the different sports practiced at the venue, displaying scores, game times, and other technical information. Furthermore, it supports the playback of images, videos, and audiovisual content, significantly expanding the sports center's utility for hosting sports events, exhibitions, presentations, and social and institutional gatherings with high-quality visual support.
The initiative represents an investment of over 16,000 euros by the Department of Physical Activity, Sport, and Health, led by Ancor Bolaños, continuing the commitment to renovate and modernize the municipality's sports facilities.
