The cultural and advocacy event in the northern municipality of Gáldar, which promotes equality, respect, and the fight for LGTBIQ+ rights, reaches its fifth edition with a notable program scheduled from June 18 to 21. The main lineup will feature performances by artists such as Manny Manuel, Ptazeta, Nueva Línea, and Inés Hernand.
Puerto Rican artist Manny Manuel, with over 20 years of experience, will perform on Saturday, June 20, at the Gran Mogollón of Gáldar Pride, presenting his merengue, bolero, and salsa hits.
Canarian rapper Ptazeta, an LGTBIQ+ icon and urban music star, will perform on Friday, June 19, at the Queen of Queens Gala. Known for her collaborations with artists like Bizarrap, Ptazeta is one of the most promising figures in the genre.
The group Nueva Línea, a viral sensation on social media, will bring their fusion of cumbia, techno-merengue, reggaeton, and bachata from Tenerife to Gáldar Pride de Día on Sunday, June 21. They recently recorded the track 'Al golpito' with Quevedo.
On Friday, June 19, the Recinto Cultural La Quinta will host the Queen of Queens Gala starting at 9:00 PM, presented by Inés Hernand and Samantha Ballantines. The event will feature performances by Ptazeta, Dj Pepino Marino, Grimassira Maeva, and the drag artist La Caudilla, in addition to the competing drag contestants' show.
Following the gala, the Noche Pride will take place with the show «Furor, furor. The Show», a version of the mythical TV contest presented by Alonso Caparrós. Subsequently, on Saturday, June 20, the Plaza de Santiago will host the Heels Race at 12:00 PM, a fun and competitive event.
The Gran Cabalgata (Grand Parade) will wind through the streets of Gáldar on Saturday, June 20, starting at 5:00 PM, culminating at the Recinto Cultural La Quinta for the Gran Mogollón of Gáldar Pride 2026, featuring performances by DJ Inés Hernand, Manny Manuel, and Aseres.
On Sunday, June 21, Gáldar Pride de Día will offer music at the Recinto Cultural La Quinta starting at 2:30 PM, with performances by Kilombo Improvisado, Nueva Línea, and Armonía Show, as well as DJ Ulises Acosta.
The Arkoiris Awards gala, presented by Roberto Herrera and Paula Vázquez, will conclude the event on Sunday at 8:00 PM at the Recinto Cultural La Quinta, recognizing the work of professionals, companies, and collectives in defending LGTBIQ+ rights.
The program also includes a photographic exhibition on Gáldar Pride in the Plaza de Santiago, running from June 15. All events are free admission until full capacity.
