Wednesday in the Canary Islands will start with abundant cloudiness on the northern slopes of the islands, especially below 900 and 1,300 meters in altitude, while the south will maintain a clearer atmosphere.

The influence of the trade winds will mark the beginning of Wednesday in the archipelago, with cloudy skies in the northern areas during the early hours. This cloudiness, associated with altitude, is expected to give way to clearer spells as the day progresses. Temperatures will remain stable, with overnight values close to 19 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 20 degrees in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and similar in most coastal areas.
The northeast wind will continue to blow with moderate intensity, showing stronger intervals in areas most exposed to this meteorological phenomenon. The island-by-island forecast details the situation: Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will have cloudy skies with a tendency towards partly cloudy conditions in the afternoon. Gran Canaria and Tenerife will see cloudy intervals in the north, with clear spells during the central hours, except on the northern coastline and the northeastern tip, respectively. La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro will follow a similar pattern, with low clouds in the north and clear skies elsewhere, especially around midday.
The predicted minimum temperatures will range between 18 and 20 degrees in most capitals, with maximums reaching 24-25 degrees in Arrecife and Puerto del Rosario, 24 degrees in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and up to 28 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In San Sebastián de La Gomera, maximums are expected to be 24 degrees, in Santa Cruz de La Palma 23 degrees, and in Valverde (El Hierro) the highs will be 17 degrees.
