The Puerto del Rosario City Council has launched a rural road paving project in Tesjuates, with an investment of 720,127.05 euros, to condition and pave several municipal roads.

The initiative, named “Asphalting, various towns in Puerto del Rosario. Tesjuates - Phase 2,” primarily aims to enhance the road infrastructure of this inland municipality. The work will be carried out by Construcciones Rodríguez Ramírez S.A. and will focus on roads that previously lacked bituminous treatment.
The absence of paving on these roads has hindered the daily transit of residents and users for years. This action seeks to provide a safer, more comfortable surface adapted to the current needs of the population.

"This action responds to a local demand that we knew well and required a serious solution. We are talking about roads used every day by families, farmers, and residents, so improving these roads means improving the daily lives of many people."

The council has emphasized that the objective is to provide the municipality's towns with modern and useful services and infrastructure, in line with their commitment to continuous improvement.
Planned works include preliminary clearing, ground regularization, leveling and compaction, as well as the extension of artificial sub-base and the subsequent application of hot bituminous mixture as a wearing course. In addition to asphalting, interventions will be made in transverse drainage, culverts, and horizontal and vertical signage, ensuring a comprehensive and lasting improvement.

"This is a project designed with functionality and technical knowledge of the terrain in mind. The truth is that every improvement in the towns adds safety, comfort, and confidence for those who live there all year round."

the Councilor for Public Works
This action is part of the municipal strategy for the renovation and improvement of infrastructures in the various population centers, with special attention to areas that have requested priority interventions for years.
