Vallehermoso Approves Over €165,000 for Local Development

The municipal plenary session greenlights investments in culture, sports, sustainability, and support for the productive sector, including a hotel plan.

The Vallehermoso City Council has approved in an extraordinary plenary session over €165,000 in strategic agreements for the municipality's development, covering culture, sports, traditions, sustainability, and support for the productive sector.

During the session, the initial approval of the La Rajita Special Plan was granted, a key step towards the development of a future quality hotel implantation in the area.
Collaboration agreements with the Island Council of La Gomera, totaling approximately €100,000, were also ratified for the financing of patron saint festivals and cultural and sports activities, ensuring a stable program for citizens.
The plenary session approved the municipality's adherence to an initiative for composting in urban centers, in collaboration with residents and AIDER La Gomera, promoting sustainability and waste reduction.
The Strategic Subsidy Plan received approval, which includes a contribution of €15,000 to the Vallehermoso Water Users' Community to support agricultural management.
Finally, a budgetary modification of approximately €50,000 was unanimously approved to strengthen funds allocated to cultural and festive activities.
