The Vallehermoso City Council is carrying out improvement works at the Alojera Church, with a focus on repairing its bell tower, to commemorate the La Milagrosa centenary.

The Vallehermoso City Council is actively coordinating with the Parish of Alojera, the Island Council (Cabildo Insular), and local residents on various improvement projects for the Alojera Church. These interventions are driven by the interest and faith of the local community.
Conservation work will focus on the building's structure and equipment, with a priority on repairing and conditioning the historic bell tower. These renovations are particularly significant for the upcoming patron saint celebrations of San Bartolo and the centenary commemoration of La Milagrosa.
The joint effort between the City Council, the Cabildo, the Alojera Festival Commission, the Parish, and the selfless collaboration of the residents has been crucial in driving these improvements.
The mayor of Vallehermoso, Emiliano Coello, has highlighted the importance of this community collaboration. Alongside the temple's renovation, a tribute and special events have been organized to mark the 100 years of La Milagrosa, ensuring the memory endures for future generations.
