Vallehermoso promotes senior social integration at island-wide gathering

Representatives and residents from Vallehermoso attended a community gathering at the Hermigua Municipal Field, aimed at strengthening social bonds among the island's senior population.

The event was attended by officials from the Government of the Canary Islands and the Island Council of La Gomera. The Vallehermoso delegation, consisting of approximately twenty residents, actively participated in the various activities organized throughout the day.
Local authorities highlighted the importance of such meetings in promoting active participation and social integration. Additionally, it was announced that the municipal revitalization program for seniors has already been tendered and is currently in the planning and resource allocation phase.
This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive calendar of activities to improve the quality of life for the municipality's elderly, reaffirming the local government's commitment to active aging and social cohesion across the island.
