The project has facilitated meetings between residents and visitors through various activities in different parts of the territory. Notable proposals included a visit to a banana plantation in La Dama, where traditional cultivation and the preparation of banana bunches were explained, as well as a day dedicated to pottery in El Cercado, focusing on the legacy of the local potters.
The program also included a route between Chipude and Igualero that combined wine tourism with landscape observation, ending with a tasting at the Cumbres de Igualero Winery. Additionally, a historical recreation of the San Juan celebrations was held in the town center.
“"Raíces is a program that connects us with who we are as a people. Each activity allows us to transmit our heritage, our history, and our traditions in a close, experiential, and shared way."
