The project, focused on the stretch between CEIP Temocodá school and the Plaza de El Cercado, encompassed various enhancements to the road and its infrastructure. Paving has been completed, sanitation and drinking water networks have been renewed, and new photovoltaic streetlights have been installed, along with fencing and signage elements.
The mayor of Vallehermoso, Emiliano Coello, highlighted that the intervention allowed for a joint approach to the road surface, utility networks, lighting, and road safety. He emphasized the incorporation of photovoltaic luminaires, which utilize solar energy, and noted that the improvements to networks and paving address the existing needs in this area.
Coello also valued the consideration of residents' contributions during the work, particularly regarding fencing and signage. The completion of these works, resulting from coordination between the City Council, the contracting company, and the residents, formalizes the comprehensive improvement of this public space in El Cercado.
