The Teguise City Council has initiated repaving works on Achamán and Fiquinineo streets in the village of Tiagua, as part of a municipal project to improve pavement and traffic conditions.

Repaving work is currently underway on Achamán and Fiquinineo streets in the village of Tiagua. This intervention is part of a broader project aimed at conditioning the pavement and enhancing traffic flow across various roads in the northern and eastern areas of the municipality.
Prior to these paving operations, the installation of potable water pipes in the same streets has been successfully completed, allowing for the continuation of the planned pavement works. The asphalt process involves preparing the base and laying a new asphalt layer, followed by necessary signage.
The Mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque, and the Councilor for Roads and Works, Eugenio Robayna, visited the site to assess the progress of the works. Duque emphasized the importance of informing residents about the ongoing operations and potential traffic and parking disruptions.
Councilor Robayna advised drivers to pay attention to temporary signage and follow instructions due to the presence of machinery and personnel in the affected streets. The City Council requests the cooperation of residents and drivers to facilitate machinery access and ensure safety.
Once the works in Tiagua are concluded, the paving activities will proceed to Costa Teguise, in accordance with the established project plan.
