Primero Canarias has taken another step in its expansion across Gran Canaria with the opening of a new base in Artenara. The event was attended by prominent party leaders, including the party's president and mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, and the vice-president of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and mayor of Gáldar, Teodoro Sosa.
The local leader of Primero Canarias in Artenara, Pedro Hernández, expressed his excitement over the community's response, with approximately one hundred attendees. He emphasized the need to "transform the political, social, and economic reality of the municipality" and stated that the project "is here to stay," aiming to secure the mayor's office in 2027.
Óscar Hernández indicated that the party intends to replicate its "working philosophy" in Artenara, characterized by "proximity and active listening," which has already been implemented in municipalities such as Gáldar and Agüimes.
Teodoro Sosa supported the local team, highlighting that Pedro Hernández and his group represent young individuals who "live here, fight here, defend what is here," and who bring "enthusiasm and hope" for Artenara's future.
