The meeting, initially scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, at the municipal Technical Office, could not take place due to the absence of technicians from the Regional Executive's Department of Education, as reported by the council in an official statement.
“"Despite the meeting being confirmed by both parties a month ago via email, they did not show up at the indicated place or time."
The Pájara City Council emphasizes the importance of this educational project for southern Fuerteventura, as the construction of the CEO would prevent students from Costa Calma from having to travel to Gran Tarajal, thus responding to a local demand.
While awaiting a new date from the Department of Education, led by councilor Poli Suárez, the council has expressed its interest in learning the project's details, its execution methodology, and the planned timelines for its development.
