The urban proposal aims to increase the level of protection for the municipal territory to nearly 90%. This measure seeks to consolidate a development model that prioritizes the conservation of the natural environment and the unique identity of Pájara over previous urban expansion plans.
Beyond the restrictions in the tourism sector, the document includes land reservations for housing development, the expansion of existing population centers, and the creation of new public facilities. The goal is to adapt municipal planning to the actual needs of residents.
The Urban Planning department of Pájara City Council has indicated that this plan serves as the roadmap for the coming years. The strategy focuses on balancing growth with the preservation of the municipality's unique values, while ensuring access to better infrastructure and services for the public.
