The municipality of Pájara is celebrating the Pájara Gaming Fest for the third consecutive year, an initiative that will bring together young people and the general public for an event dedicated to entertainment, technology, and digital education. The event will take place this weekend, from September 25th to 27th, at the Morro Jable municipal sports center, with free and open entry for everyone.
Salah Cheaib, Councilor for New Technologies, highlighted that this is an already consolidated event that promotes values such as teamwork, strategy, creativity, and responsible technology use. For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, noted that the initiative offers an opportunity to enjoy technology and video games from a playful yet educational perspective.
The festival's program includes various tournaments, workshops on video game creation, basic drawing, animation, technological development, and drones. Additionally, educational talks on digital coexistence and well-being will be given, aimed at schools and the general public. Gaming zones will feature computers, consoles, interactive challenges, and virtual reality experiences.
Access to the event will be reserved for educational centers on Friday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The general public can attend from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. On Saturday, the opening hours will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
