After completing minor interventions, municipal services are now focusing on works declared as emergencies. These operations aim to resolve damage caused by heavy swells, wind, and intense rainfall that severely affected various points along the coast.
A key focus is the reconstruction of the La Longuera bridge. After being rendered unusable by the ravine's flood, a temporary structure was installed, which will be replaced by a wooden bridge designed to offer greater resistance and better integration with the natural environment.
On the Avenida de Los Descubridores, work is focused on rehabilitating the coastal wall. Erosion caused by high tide and the storm's intensity weakened the structure's base, prompting reinforcement projects to ensure the safety and stability of the promenade against future adverse weather events.
In addition to structural repairs, the municipal plan includes the cleaning and beautification of the coastline. The goal is to recover this public space with better service conditions for the public, strengthening the pillars and foundations of the areas most exposed to sea action.
