San Sebastián de La Gomera Concludes DxBarrios 2026 with Trophy Ceremony
The municipal sports and leisure program ends its edition with a recognition event on September 10th at CCRD Junonia.

The San Sebastián de La Gomera City Council will hold the closing ceremony for the DxBarrios 2026 sports and leisure program on September 10th, promoted by the Department of Sports, with a trophy and recognition event at CCRD Junonia.
The program, which brought disciplines such as chess, judo, envite, futsal, 3x3 basketball, Canarian ball, paddle, and table tennis to the neighborhoods, aims to promote sports practice and community coexistence. The initiative culminates with an event at CCRD Junonia at 7:30 PM.
Mayor Angélica Padilla highlighted the municipal commitment to bringing quality services and activities to all neighborhoods. She assured that efforts will continue to expand the sports offerings, maintaining the commitment to promote a local and participatory program.

For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Aday Herrera, expressed his satisfaction with the program's return, this year named DxBarrios, which was a success with the participation of over 320 people. He emphasized that bringing these activities to the neighborhoods has facilitated participation and strengthened community relations.
