Registrations will be open until Sunday, December 13th, at 11:59 PM, or until the available spots are filled.
The Councilor for Sports, Walter Martín, highlighted the race's consolidation and its combination of sport, nature, and community in a scenically valuable setting. He noted the council's commitment to events that promote physical activity and boost the municipality.
The competition will start at 6:00 PM in La Mérica, adding a special appeal to the night route. Participants are reminded to respect the organization's instructions and the race regulations.
After the race, transportation will be provided from the finish line to the Plaza de San Pedro for the awards ceremony. The day will conclude with a concert by the group Vándalos, offering a tribute to the music of the eighties and nineties.
Walter Martín stated that the edition aims to be a celebration for competitors, their families, and the entire municipality, thanking the collaboration of all individuals, entities, and services that make the race possible. He encouraged local runners and visitors to register for this special edition, marking ten years of trajectory.
The 10th La Mérica Vertical Race is organized by the Valle Gran Rey City Council, with the collaboration of the Cabildo Insular de La Gomera and the sponsorship of GrandeSport.
