The Guayadeque Cultural Association from El Carrizal is celebrating its 31st Zonal Festival Virgen del Buen Suceso and 27th Soloists Showcase this Saturday, August 15th, at the Buen Suceso Park.

The cultural event, one of the most traditional in the municipality, will feature the participation of the Xirandola Cultural Association from A Bandeira (Pontevedra), in an exchange that reciprocates the visit made by the El Carrizal group to Galicia in 2024. Joining the host group are three soloists from Gran Canaria: Thania Gil, David Suárez, and José María Dávila.
The event will also serve to officially launch the commemorative album for the 50th anniversary of A.F.C. Guayadeque, celebrated in 2025. This work compiles part of the group's musical legacy and, via a QR code, also showcases dances and attire, reinforcing the collective's commitment to preserving traditions.

"We hope that neighbors, residents, and visitors will enjoy a night of music, tradition, and cultural exchange between the Canary Islands and Galicia."
