The activities were presented on April 23 at the library itself, emphasizing the crucial role of reading for personal and collective development. The program, which began on April 15, has included guided tours for students, storytelling sessions, and bibliographic exhibitions.

During the event, data on the library's usage in its first year of operation after renovation was released. Since its opening on April 23, 2025, 251 new users have registered, and home loans have increased from 1,899 to 4,576. Daily visits have risen from an average of 15 people to between 75 and 80, occasionally exceeding one hundred.
The space has also served as a cultural meeting point, hosting school groups, book presentations, and storytelling sessions for both children and adults. Study rooms and computer equipment maintain constant occupancy, complemented by free Wi-Fi, reading clubs, and training activities.

A municipal representative highlighted the evolution of cultural infrastructure in the municipality, mentioning the future library projected in the town center, with an estimated investment of five million euros. The coordinator of the Library Network expressed gratitude for the institutional support and the local government's involvement in cultural development.
The day concluded with recognition for the most loyal reader and a performance by singer-songwriter Juan Martel. Additionally, two exhibitions were inaugurated: 'Treasures of our collection', featuring old books and documents, and 'Books and Drawn Laughter', a graphic display with works by renowned graphic humorists. 13 book sets were also delivered to educational centers in the municipality.
