The wooden office, located in the square of the upper area next to the Town Hall buildings, resumes its activity with summer hours, from 9 AM to 1 PM, daily except Wednesdays and Fridays. Starting in September, with the beginning of the high tourist season, it will open daily from 9 AM to 2 PM.
The first deputy mayor, Julio Ojeda, highlighted the importance of this resource for showcasing the attractions of the upper area, such as its trails, restaurants, and museums. He emphasized that it is crucial for tourists to have information to better enjoy a city with a sustainable tourism offering.
For his part, the councilor for the upper area, Sergio Vega, expressed his satisfaction at having a point of information again that will help tourists have a more pleasant stay and discover the different attractions of both the upper area and the rest of the municipality.
Municipal representatives noted that the person in charge of providing information at the office is a resident of the upper area and has a thorough knowledge of the region.
